PM 7:30pm - Depart from your hotel in Hanoi by private car/van to Ha Noi Railway Station to catch the night train (soft sleeper 4 berth sharing cabin with air conditioning) to Lao Cai.
| Day 1: Sapa - Su Pan - Thanh Phu - Sin Chai, 40 km. (B, L, D) |
5.00am - Arrive in Lao Cai. Get to the exit of the train station where you can find your name sign held by Sapa Pathfinder guide. The bus ride uphill to Sa Pa takes a little over an hour, giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. After breakfast, gear up for your exciting ride. This tour takes you down Sapa valley with its amazing scenery of mountains and rice paddy fields on terraces as far as the eye can see. Started from Sapa by cycling along the newly built dirt road, which will bring you to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai , Ta Van, Su Pan. After a short break here, you will pass through the Black Hmong Village to the Tay ethnic minority village of Thanh Phu . While your cook is preparing a delicious lunch, you will have time to explore the village and soon you will find out that things are not done in the way you are used to know. In the afternoon, your adventure continues into the Red Dao village of Sin Chai , where you will have tasteful dinner in a local house and stay overnight in the bamboo huts.
| Day 2: Sin Chai - Ban Ho- Sapa, 41km (B, L, D) |
After breakfast you will ride to the Tay village of Ban Ho. Upon arrival, you will take a short walk to the nearby river, where you can have a nice swim then enjoy your lunch on the river bank, listening to the wonderful sound of the nearby waterfall after lunch you will return to Sapa. Having time to see this romantic town before your shower and dinner. Sleep on the same type of train back to Hanoi. End of your Sapa trip.
