Although tourism is developing fast in the region, many locals still live a very basic life. Most of them spend all day long working on the fields. It’s so easy to find a small market in any villages; they sell what their families do not need in markets, Cocly market, too. And with the money they make, they buy something else. It is what experts call a subsistence economy. No luxuries here. Ref: SPT-M4

At  7:30 pm transfer from your hotel to the Hanoi train station for boarding at 9:15 pm. You will be in shared AC soft sleeper cabins of 4 to travel North to Lao Cai town. The next morning: The train arrives in Lao Cai at about 5:00 am where your Sapa Pathfinder Travel guide will welcome you. Look for the "Sapa Pathfinder Travel" sign when you exit the train station.

Am: enjoy a cozy breakfast in Lao Cai train station. After few minutes resting, the driver will take you to Muong Khuong district, via tea plantation and forest of pine. You might encounter Giay tribe in their traditional dress in Ban Lau or Thanh Binh. Reaching Cao Son about 10.am, enjoy the excitement of this weekly market. The shining dress of colorful Hmong girls attracts you much as you fall down to a new world , a world of interest and fun. Picnic lunch is served after the visit to Ngai Phong Cho village – the habitat of Flower Hmong tribe.
Pm: you will, for sure, be impressed by the magnificent landscapes of Chay river and lofty mountain ranges en route Cao Son – Coc Ly. Arriving Coc Ly, a boat trip is on offer to visit the awesome Fairy cave and charmingly- located village of Tay tribe. Finally, the car take you back to Lao Cai city then heading to Sapa to spend overnight.

Am: you are free to discover the enchanting of this colonial town by visiting the ancient church, the central market. Lunch is served in a chic restaurant.
Pm: after check-out of the hotel, our guide will pick you up to lead you to Cat Cat village to experience some strange customs of Black Hmong tribe, you also have a nice time to enjoy the conversation with local people there. Afterward, walking downhill to the waterfall, relax and unwind then walking uphill to the hotel. Stay at leisure until the bus come to take you back to Lao Cai train station. Dinner in a good restaurant before taking the night train  returning to Hanoi. End your trip here.
